Restaurant chain McAlister’s Deli has introduced a novel way for its customers to savor two of its popular items, the Pecanberry Salad and the Deli’s most liked McAlister’s Club Sandwich.

Customers can choose to have their favourite summer special Pecanberry Salad made as a wrap or have the sandwich made into Club Salad. These two items will be served September 30 onwards.

Ingredients for the Pecanberry Wrap include blueberries, strawberries, candied pecans, mixed greens and grilled chicken, garnished with the fat-free Raspberry-Pecan Vinaigrette Dressing.

Its Club Salad is a blend of applewood smoked bacon, Black Forest ham, fresh tomatoes, smoked turkey, sharp cheddar and Swiss cheeses served on a bed of crisp lettuce, decorated with McAlister's Honey Mustard Dressing and toast points.

McAlister's chief marketing officer Donna Josephson said: "Our seasonal Pecanberry Salad and McAlister's Club sandwich are two of our most popular menu items, which is why we decided to give customers a new way to eat more of what they already enjoy.

"At McAlister's, we are dedicated to providing delicious food and fresh new flavours that meet the needs of our guests who are looking for more variety."
