On July 8, 2013, the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) published a Circular announcing that its proposed food additive amendment will enter into force on August 1, 2013. The Food (Amendment) Regulations 2013 include various regulatory changes to Singapore's list of authorized food additives and maximum use levels.

Singapore's food additive regulations are found in the Sale of Food Act (Chapter 283).

The International Food Additive Database will be updated to include this amendment once it is in effect. Further information on Singapore’s food additive regulations can be found on AVA’s legislation page.
