On March 4, 2019, according to the Veterinary Food News of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, the country imposed restrictions on imported Chinese poultry due to bird flu .

According to the report of the International Journal of Epidemiology, Yunnan Province has recently disclosed cases of highly pathogenic bird flu. Since March 2, Belarus has imposed temporary bans on live birds, hatched eggs, wildlife, circus animals, poultry meat, egg powder and protein from China, including animal feathers.

The Department informed of the need for control measures to ensure the protection of all domestic poultry.
