Recently, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA), the Food Standards Agency (FSA) issued a notice to solicit opinions on amending the provisions of food information legislation on allergen information in pre-packaged foods.

It is understood that there are four policy options for this consultation to improve the provision of pre-packaged food allergen information to consumers. At present, these foods in the UK do not need to carry labels and information about allergens, because customers can talk to people who make or pack products when they buy them to get the information. The time for soliciting opinions is from January 25, 2019 to March 29, 2019.
