US-based syrup manufacturer Lyle has introduced a new packaging for its syrup range, which has been designed for Halloween.

The new packaging is a Black Treacle Tin, Trick or Treacle, which is a limited edition. It will focus on the younger consumers to regenerate the brand with a new look.The launch is being supported by in-store promotions, which stress on the black treacle's variant recipe suggestions reported the Food & Drink Innovation Network.

Lyle's senior brand manager Elpida Gailani remarked that the product will attract younger consumers and will make it a kitchen essential.

The product is out for sale from early October and is available at an RRP of 88p per 454g tin.

Lyle's syrups are used in a variety of baking recipes and desserts as a substitute for honey.
