The four franchise groups include three new franchisees - LLD Investments, Abundant Endeavors, WNY Restaurants and an existing franchisee Southern Deli Holdings.
Of these total proposed restaurants, LLD will open four restaurants in Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana, while five restaurants will be opened in North Orange County, Florida by Abundant Endeavors.
WNY Restaurants will open five restaurants in Buffalo, New York and Southern Deli is expected to open seven restaurants across North and South Carolina.
McAlister's Deli president and CEO Frank Paci stated: "The first half of 2013 has been off to a very successful start, and as part of our expansion plans, we are excited to bring McAlister's hospitality to more markets around the country."
McAlister's, which has more than 315 restaurants in 23 states, offers catering with a selection of sandwich trays, box lunches, desserts and a hot spud bar.
