Rosati Italian Water Ice, Clifton Heights, Pa., introduced a fruity icy dessert that’s available in the freezer section of retailers in Texas.

“It’s impossible to compare Italian water ice because it’s not sherbert or shaved ice or a snow cone or a smoothie or anything you’ve ever had,” says Rich Trotter, president. “Philadelphia-style Italian water ice has a uniquely smooth texture that is bursting with fruit flavor as it melts on your tongue. Philadelphians line up for it around the block on hot summer nights.”

The frozen dessert line include Mango, Cherry, Lemon, Root Beer, Blue Raz (blue raspberry), Rainbow (cherry, lemon, blue raspberry) and Mangoñeada (mango with chili accent) in 10-ounce single-serve cups or scoopable 2-quarter party pails.
