Coca-Cola Hellenic has deployed Tetra Pak’s Tetra Gemina Aseptic (TGA) Leaf carton for improved handling, pouring and a sleek new design for its Dobry juice range in Russia.

Dobry is the juice brand of Multon, a part of Coca-Cola. Multon produces fruit-based foods, including natural juices, nectars, berry beverages, infant products and purees in aseptic packaging.

Multon operates a plant at Schelkovo in Moscow Region and another one in St. Petersburg, with an overall production capacity exceeding 790 million liters per year.

Multon marketing director Pierre Philippenko said: "I'm confident that Dobry consumers will like Dobry juice in this new and more convenient package."

Building on the functionality of the TGA Square package, the TGA Leaf uses the recently launched HeliCap 27 and delivers a larger net pouring area for higher liquid flow.

The TGA Leaf can be produced on the Tetra Pak A3/Flex for TGA packaging machine, in TGA Square, TGA Crystal and TGA Leaf shapes; in 1500ml, 1000ml, 750ml and 500ml sizes for the Square shape; and in 1000ml size for the Crystal and Leaf shapes.

Greece-based Coca-Cola Hellenic operates in 28 countries and is Europe's major manufacturer of beverages trademarked by The Coca-Cola Company with sales of more than 2 billion unit cases.
