Murat Altintop, a grower in Malatya, started growing capia peppers which became very much in demand in the market. Now the next goal for the grower is to start exporting these peppers.

The grower started production as an alternative to the apricot, which was grown extensively in the city.

The grower set up a greenhouse and planted 20,000 seedlings and he is very happy with the productivity and quality of the products he has received. The grower also hopes to set an example for growers in the area to experiment with new products and to discover different products which can help growers in their marketing position.
