More than 42,100 tons of lettuce worth over $10 million were exported from Iran during the five months leading to August 22, figures released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.

The main export destinations for Iranian lettuce over the period were the UAE, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Armenia, the Russian Federation, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Afghanistan, the Young Journalists Club reported.
