The prices of these local herbs are quite stable. Indian aster sells at 10 yuan [1.49 USD] per kg and alfalfa sells at 12 yuan [1.79 USD] per kg. A market employee stated that the seasonal herbs can be found at almost all market stalls.
The peak sales period for wild herbs came slightly early this year, and the wild herbs will therefore also leave the market early. Furthermore, the overall sales volume is lower than in previous years because of poor weather conditions. However, the overall sales volume of wild herbs is always small and has little effect on the market.
