Davisco Foods International, a US-based family owned dairy company, has launched three new ingredients, Whey Protein Concentrate 80 Heat stable (WPC80-HS), Instantized WPC80 IP and Instantized BiPRO IP.

The new products complement the company's portfolio of whey protein products for food and nutrition applications and are claimed to provide high protein quality with rapid digestibility, a complete amino acid profile and high levels of branched chain amino acids.

WPC80-HS, which is an alternative to standard WPC80, contains about 80% whey proteins, upto 5% moisture, 10% lactose, 6% minerals, and 5.5% fat. It is suitable for processed foods including sauces, soups, yogurt, baked goods and confections.

Instantized WPC80 IP is an agglomerated with at least 80% protein that offers ease of dispersability through sunflower lecithin, a non-GMO/identity preserved ingredient used at less than 1.5% in the product.

Instantized BiPRO IP also offers dispersability through non-GMO/identity preserved sunflower lecithin, in a whey protein isolate made from ion exchange with unsurpassed purity.

Davisco is set to showcase the new ingredients at the forthcoming Food Ingredients Europe (FIE) Expo in Frankfurt, Germany, scheduled to be held from 19-21 November.
