The ₤15m (€18.65m) site in the country of Lincolnshire was opened by Environment Minister Lord Taylor of Holbeach and will support CCE's commitment to to use 25% rPET in all its bottles by the end of 2012.

Continuum Recycling is joint venture between CCE and ECO Plastics on the latter's existing site - which is now claimed to be the world's largest plastics reprocessing facility.

The 'closed loop' site reflects a commitment to collect Coke and other PET bottles and incorporate them into new bottles for sale within weeks.
