Due to unprecedented price increases in citrus peel and apple pomace, Andre Pectin announced it will raise prices on its entire range of products by 10% to 20% effective Nov. 1, 2013. Exact increases will depend on product grade.

According to the company, while it continually optimizes its costs along the entire value chain, the impact of such external pressure can no longer be offset by improving process efficiency alone. This further price increase is necessary to enable Andre Pectin to continue to deliver the market and its loyal customers the best value with high quality products. The company's products are used in jams and fruit spreads, confectionery, fruit preparation for yogurt, beverages, acidified dairy drinks and dietary supplements.
