Nature's Products (NPI), consumer healthcare products contract manufacturer, has announced that it will begin to manufacture gummy supplements locally at its state-of-the-art facility in Sunrise, Florida.

Up until now, the company has been importing gummies to meet its customers' demands.

"Gummy supplement demand has skyrocketed in the last few years," said John Kelly, VP of Sales for NPI. "Bringing the gummy manufacturing to Florida will reduce the complexity in our supply chain and increase our service to key customers."

Kelly added that this move will open up capacity to supply new customers that have been expressing interest for some time now.

Because of their convenience and great taste, gummies have become a very popular delivery method for supplements. With its new manufacturing lines in Florida, NPI will be able to offer its customers access to unique molds, mouth-watering flavors and customized vitamin and ingredient content such as Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Omega-3, Probiotic, Joint, Multivitamin and even Fiber options.

Gummy production is slated to begin in the Fourth Quarter, 2014. Production lines will be housed within the existing 225,000 square foot facility in Sunrise, Florida.
