The new sales office will allow FrieslandCampina to capitalise more effectively on the growing demand for ingredients and a comprehensive range of infant and toddler nutrition products among clients operating on the South American market.

The FrieslandCampina Ingredients business group develops high-quality ingredients from milk and whey for applications in infant and toddler nutrition, foodstuffs and pharmaceutical products.

Says Roelof Joosten, Chief Operating Officer of FrieslandCampina Ingredients: "As ingredients manufacturers, we want to provide excellent services to our customers and that necessitates having a branch in their region. By opening an office in São Paulo, Brazil, we can respond more effectively to the needs of our customers in South America."

A team of approximately ten staff members will work from the office in São Paulo under the management of Senno van der Velde, Regional Director of Latin America.
