Burton’s Biscuits is integrating with Fox’s Biscuits (as of 28 March 2022) to form a new biscuits company in the UK called Fox’s Burton’s Companies (FBC) UK, led by CEO Simon Browne.

The new business will continue to operate under the Ferrero-related company following Burton’s Biscuits’ acquisition last year, and the acquisition of Fox’s Biscuits in 2020.

As part of the integration, the FBC Leadership Team will now be undertaking a strategic review which will determine the details behind the transition.

FBC UK CEO Simon Browne says: “After many years of looking at one another, we are excited about bringing together two businesses that share the same passion for crafting British biscuits with care, quality and innovation.’’

Burton’s Biscuits, which includes brands such as Jammie Dodgers, Maryland Cookies, and Wagon Wheels, was founded in 1935. In June 2021 Burton’s Biscuits Company was acquired by a Ferrero Related company. The Ferrero group sells products in over 170 countries and has over 37,000 workers worldwide and a consolidated turnover of €12.3 billion (2020).

Dating back to 1853, Fox’s Biscuits bake more than 6 billion biscuits a year. It was acquired by Ferrero in 2020.
