Sweet Green Fields , a US-based producer of stevia extracts, has launched two natural sweetener solutions - Optesse HPX and Optesse HPS - which can be used for diet and reduced calorie beverages.

The company noted that the two high purity glycoside compositions can be used with varying quantities of sugar by food and beverage companies with virtually no sensory consequences and for a fraction of the cost.

Currently, the company is already working with several multinational companies to test new formulations.

Sweet Green Fields chief executive officer Dean Francis said that with the introduction of these new products, Sweet Green Fields focused on offering superior quality, value and efficacy for its customers, drawing from its extensive product line and formulations research.

Like the existing Sweet Green Fields stevia offerings, both the Optesse products are also produced using the company's patented and all-natural Fast Precipitation Process that extracts high quality stevia glycosides in a fraction of the time compared to standard industry methods, the company said.

In addition to the two new products, Sweet Green Fields also offers Altesse Stevia 99, Sweetesse Stevia 97 and 95, and Greenesse Stevia 80, 60 and 50, which have a low glycemic index and are heat and pH stable, Kosher and Halal certified and JECFA approved.
