American Mustard brand French’s has launched French Fried Onions in UK that will be available from May 2013.

The French Fried Onions can be used as a topping for burgers, salads and soups. The product, priced at a RRP of about £1.79 for 79g, will be available at Sainsbury's from mid-May.

Commenting on the launch, French's brand manager Chloe Agache said that the company is expecting a great consumer demand for its French Fried Onions.

The company plans to promote a range of recipes, including Crunchy Onion Chicken, Mac 'n' Cheese and a Crunchy Onion Cheeseburger.

French's is an American manufacturer of prepared mustard condiment. By 1921, French's Mustard had adopted its trademark pennant. The company offers a complete line of spices and extracts, mustard and condiments, pickle products, sauce and gravy mixes, instant potato products, and pet care products. The company also owned Widmer Wine Cellars.
