FMC Corporation has announced that Marshall Fong has joined FMC BioPolymer as the global marketing director of Food Ingredients. As global marketing director, Marshall drives the development and execution of strategies for growth across all segments of FMC’s Food Ingredients portfolio.

He leads all marketing initiatives, including product portfolio strategy and the development of winning customer value propositions.

“Marshall has great insight, and a sound understanding of both market and customer needs in the health and nutrition industry,” said Mary T. Clarke, general manager, Food Ingredients. “Under his proven leadership, FMC will continue to deepen and expand its role as a leading provider of natural solutions for global food, personal care and specialty markets.”

Previously, Marshall was the director of commercial development at Lonza, where he was responsible for implementing growth strategies for their Life Sciences ingredient portfolio. Prior to his position at Lonza, he was the marketing leader for Ganeden Biotech, and held marketing roles at Ingredion (then National Starch), Pharmavite and Nestlé.
