US-based pizzeria chain Grimaldi’s Pizzeria has unveiled new toppings and dessert offerings, just in time for the Summer 2013.

The new toppings include, green peppers, bacon, black olives and fresh baby spinach, which are an addition to the existing range of toppings.

Grimaldi's three new desserts feature, home-made cheesecakes, cannolis and tiramisu, the company said.

In addition, Grimaldi's Pizzeria has introduced a new salad, which is a blend of baby spinach, red onion, cherry tomatoes, crumbled gorgonzola cheese and bacon, drizzled with a light balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

Grimaldi's Pizzeria serves hand-tossed, coal-fired brick oven pizzas and calzones across its locations in the US. It uses fresh ingredients, handmade mozzarella and its 'secret recipe' dough and pizza sauce in the preparation of pizzas.
