Ellipsis' plans for 2013 include a Sunday brunch, whose menu is characterised by a combination of ethnic ingredients and international techniques. Inspired by American cuisine, it will be available on Sunday, January 13, 2013, between noon and 10pm.

Priced at Rs 5,000 (inclusive of taxes) per head, the buffet will be accompanied by beverages including beer, Bloody Mary and Prosecco. And those who don't drink alcohol can enjoy the buffet for Rs 2,500 (inclusive of taxes) per head.

Kelvin Cheung, executive chef, will dish out an array of items, which also including Italian, French and Asian favourites categorised as breakfast-focussed savouries and a lunch/dinner menu.

The breakfast items include a selection of five egg dishes, including the Ham Benedict, and house made bagels. The chef’s special includes duck pancakes made with duck confit, duck fat pancakes, foie mousse and smoked maple syrup.

The lunch/dinner menu includes Baja fish tacos, pork belly and chicken sliders with steamed buns, kimchee, apple butter and jalapeño, in addition to pastas, flatbreads and salads.

All the items, including the flatbreads, waffles and pancakes, muffins and bagels, would be made fresh and in-house. Moreover, they can be savoured by vegetarians as well.

Speaking on the launch of the brunch menu, Rohan Talwar, founder & CEO, IB Hospitality, said, “We are very excited about our Sunday brunch to kick off 2013 with some really delicious food and drink options that go perfectly with the ambiance at Ellipsis.”
