A Taiwanese McDonald’s has taken a bizarre initiative to attract fast food lovers by having their female employees dress up in pink French maid costumes.

The sultry dressed women wore frilly dresses, white headpieces and aprons. They were instructed to address each customer as “master” and had to wear the pink costumes the entire evening.

The idea was outlandish, but the female crew did not seem to mind and even posted pictures on to the company Facebook account afterward. Although some may see this campaign as sexest the costumes were demure, cute and a playful attempt to garner attention. The evening took place on New Year’s Eve and was a certifiable success.

The Taiwanese McDonald’s thought outside the box and may just implement the French made costumes as the new uniform.
