Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will launch an app to facilitate the people to buy fruits and vegetables online at the officially-approved rates. New service Dawn learned that the decision was made at a meeting last week, which was chaired by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan. The senior official said the ‘Drusut Daam’ app would be launched with a view to fighting the price hikes. He said the app had already been used by the Islamabad district administration.

The official said the online market places would help the consumers book orders online and have their consignments delivered at their homes.
