Ossid, powered by Pro Mach, is set to unveil the 500Si stretch wrapper designed for high-speed meat and produce tray wrapping applications.

The new product will be launched at Expo Pack Mexico event scheduled to be held from 18-21 June 21 in Mexico City.

Rated at up to 120 trays per minute, the servo controlled 500Si stretch wrapper is the first in a new generation of mid-price machines from Ossid.

According to the company, the 500Si HMI guarantees ease of operation and makes rapid, tool-free changeover between package sizes quick and easy.

The stainless steel frame and other construction features are compatible with the environments of meat and produce packaging facilities.

Ossid vice president and general manager Ernie Newell said: "Meat and produce companies looking for a trouble-free, high-speed stretch wrapping solution should definitely investigate the new 500Si stretch wrapper."

Ossid, headquartered in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, is a manufacturer of tray over wrappers, weigh price labelers, case scales and horizontal form fill seal machinery.
