shrimpThe Dutch shrimp specialist was taken over by the seafood company Tel in 2012, whose operation covers the whole spectrum of the fishery industry.

Primstar operates with Atlantic Shrimpers which is based in Nigeria and has interests in a shrimp farm in Ecuador.

The move by the companies, which was announced at the European Seafood Exposition in Brussels, will see Primstar is to take an equal share in Kegge and together the companies expect to consolidate their position in the Dutch shrimp market.
