Chicago-based Peer Foods cooks, smokes and roasts pork, beef, chicken and turkey items for restaurants and foodservice. In addition to the Peer Foods label, the company owns the Mariah brand, and in January 2013, acquired Greenville, Ind.-based Emge Foods, a processed meat producer.
