The company sells its Italian assortment under UnicaVera label to (hotel and restaurant) wholesale and retail and sales are to their entire satisfaction, according to Frits de Mooij. In addition to existing lines we have also introduced a a new packing, namely 500 gr bags with a new print. "The packing has a special foil letting damp through, so that the quality of the product remains better still."
Rucola and Baby Salad Mix
"We have tried to retain the features and the colourful character of the dishes in this packing. Reactions are enthusiastic and sales therefore show an increasing trend" Frits tells. "Up to now we sell rucola, baby salad mix and washed wild spinach in the 500 gr.bags, but shortly the rest of the wide product assortment will follow."
"The demand is mainly from the hotel and restaurant sector, but the export has also discovered it. UnicaVera is still an appreciated hallmark locally and abroad. This we notice from the continuously increasing sales. By improving our packing and products further all the time we can continue the increasing tendency" Frits concludes with satisfaction.
