Jean-Paul Gaultier Coke bottles shine for Ardagh at Starpack 2012
Ardagh Group was just one of the big packaging names that celebrated success at the prestigious Star…Ardagh Group was just one of the big packaging names that celebrated success at the prestigious Starpack Industry Awards 2012 - endorsed by the UK Packaging Society - across categories as varied as general beverage packaging and luxury and giftware.
Ardagh Group was highly commended for its Coca-Cola Light (Diet Coke) Jean Paul Gaultier bottle,launched by the fashion designer himself with some fanfare in Paris and London back in April.
"Lovely contour aluminium bottle, superb artwork and print. Great graphics on this iconic shape, lightweight, eye-catching and recyclable," the 14 Starpack judges concluded.
The Jean Paul Gaultier bottle was produced in France by Boxal, the aluminium container manufacturer acquired by Ardagh in early 2012.
