There may have been no gold medals up for grabs for Olympics and Paralympics food safety, but the FSA's work with its partners during and prior to the Games should enable the development of a food safety template that can be used during major sporting events of the future.

The latest FSA e-News outlines some of the reasons for the 2012 Games being so free of major food safety incidents. As with the UK athletes, it was down to training and preparation.
