Sonic, an American drive-in restaurant chain, has unveiled two new breakfast offerings, the Salsa Verde Breakfast Burrito and the Salsa Verde Breakfast Toaster sandwich.

The new items are made with salsa verde and avocado and can be served as a protein-packed, flavorful meal.

Salsa Verde Breakfast Toaster is made with crispy bacon, bold salsa verde, fluffy eggs, fresh onions and melted American cheese, sandwiched between two thick slices of Texas Toast.

Salsa Verde Breakfast Burrito comprises of savory ingredients, as well as melted cheddar cheese and Sonic Drive-In's Tots, all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla.

Both the products are finished off with Wholly Avocado from the makers of Wholly Guacamole brand,

Sonic product innovation vice president chef Claes Petersson said, "The combination of zesty salsa verde and rich, real avocado brings an added layer of depth and dimension to our breakfast burritos and toasters."
