Paint ‘em Red!

You will need:

2 large chocolate bars (you can use white too!)

12 large fresh strawberries (with stems)

Butterpaper

Sprinkles

Method:

Wash and dry the strawberries. Make sure the stems are intact. Break chocolate into small pieces and place in microwave bowl.

Heat, so that the chocolate is nice and gooey.

Dip the strawberries one by one, holding them by the stem.

Sprinkle with sprinklers, candies and gems.

Place on butterpaper to cool.

Yummy Greek Salad

You will need:

2 pods garlic

1/2 cup thinly sliced onion for the dressing

1/2 cup chopped onions for the salad.

10 black and green olives

1 cup iceberg lettuce

1/2 cup olive oil

1 tsp vinegar

1 tbsp dried herbs

3 tomatoes chopped into medium pieces

1 red pepper chopped into medium pieces

1 cucumber into medium pieces

1 cup crumbled feta cheese

1/2 lemon juice

For seasoning: Salt and pepper

Method:

Mince garlic and add to the thinly sliced onion, olive oil, vinegar, and dried herbs. Keep aside so the onions and garlic absorb the juices.

Chop tomatoes, pepper, and cucumber. Mix the feta, onions and lemon juice.

Layer the salad bowl with lettuce and put in the tossed salad.

Dress with crumbled feta cheese, salad dressing, salt and pepper. Garnish with olives.

Chicken story

You will need:

5 chicken thigh pieces

5 chicken drumsticks pieces

15 baby potatoes

2 tsp dried basil

1 tsp fresh basil

1/2 tsp dried thyme

5 pods of garlic

2 tsp salt

1 tbsp butter

4 tbsp olive oil

Method:

Preheat the oven to 375°.

Arrange chicken, baby potatoes (washed, dried and unpeeled) and garlic pods in a greased baking dish.

Sprinkle chicken and potatoes with the basil, thyme, salt, and olive oil.

Cover the pan with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove from oven and use a ladle to turn over the chicken and potatoes and bake uncovered for another 20 minutes.

Garnish with a dollop of butter and fresh basil.

Oh so gar-licky

You will need:

10 bread pieces

3 tbsp Butter

2 tsp Garlic powder (taste)

Half cup Mozzarella cheese shredded

Half cup mushroom

Half cup black olives

Method:

Mix garlic powder with the butter and keep aside.

Take a slice of bread and apply the garlic butter on one side. In the same way, butter the rest of the bread.
