Burger 21American fast food chain Burger 21 has signed franchise agreements with six companies to open 11 outlets across six US states.

The chain is launching an outlet in Orlando near the University of Central Florida in February 2013.

It is keen on expanding its retail footprint across South Florida, Dallas and New York this year.

Commenting on the developments, Burger 21 president and chief concept officer Mark Johnston remarked that the chain is looking at a strong franchise development in 2013.

"Our franchisees recognize the strength of our growing brand, knowing that their investment is supported by a management team with more than 25 years of franchise experience," added Johnston.
