Parade DayThere are a lot of places to celebrate at for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, but the VFW Hall proved to be a top spot to hang out last year.

The hall will open 9 a.m. and will be serving breakfast items such as bagels, rolls, and egg sandwiches. The party kicks in after the parade festivities end.

“There is no cover charge and Andersens Deli will be providing the Irish fare,” said Park Lounge owner, Jim Pavese who helped organize last year’s event. “There will be beer available for purchase as well as soft drinks.”

Irish favorites such as corned beef brisket sandwiches and dinners, Shepherd's Pie and Irish soda bread will be served as well as hot dogs, pretzels, chicken noodle and cream of potato soup, coffee, tea, hot chocolate.

Money raised during the event will support the continued renovation and preservation of the hall, said Pavese.
