Beginning this year, the Deutsches Tiefkühlinstitut (German Institute for Frozen Products) will become an exclusive partner of the Anuga food trade fair, which will take place in Cologne, Germany, Oct. 5-9.

The agreement involves cooperation on Anuga Frozen Food and Anuga FoodService, two of the ten trade shows at Anuga. The dti will advise and assist the organizers of Anuga when it comes to planning, organizing and implementing the two trade shows. Some 6,700 suppliers from around 100 countries are expected to come to Anuga from 5th to 9th October 2013.

To support its member organizations, dti have its own stand at Anuga Frozen Food. With approximately 450 suppliers from about 50 countries, that show will take up both levels of Hall 4, with a gross exhibition space of 27,500 square meters. Among the exhibitors will be Agrarfrost, Ambach, Apetito, Ardo, Aviko, Crop’s, Erlenbacher Backwaren, Fish&More, Fresystem, Gunnar Dafgard, Hasa, Lamb Weston, Limburg Patisserie, Lutosa, Mydibel, Neuhauser, Pan Expert, Pickenpack, Pinguin, Salomon, Schnen frost,  Stritzinger, Süd-Eis, Surgital and Wernsing.

Besides hosting its own stand, dti will actively provide information on topics related to the frozen food industry in the national and international setting provided by Anuga.

The highlight will be the Frozen Food sector get-together, which dti will organize in cooperation with its partner organizations Anuga, Lebensmittel Praxis and tk-report minus Oct. 7. But dti and the Anuga organizers also aim to exploit the synergies at Anuga FoodService. After all, the food service and catering market is an important and lucrative partner for the frozen food sector.
