US-based Unique Pizza and Subs (UPZS) has signed an agreement to distribute its healthy frozen pizzas in Asia.

The company has signed the deal with Larasan Pharmaceutical, a Florida-based nature-based pharmaceutical company that produces and distributes health enhancing products in the US and Asia.

Larasan, which has operations in China, distributes to more than one million retailers, franchise and corporate convenience and small grocery stores throughout China and India whose combined reach extends to more than two billion prospective consumers.

As part of the deal, Larasan will distribute the company's frozen six-to-eight-inch individual pizzas to up to approximately 500,000 of its distribution outlets.

Larasan's distribution outlets have frozen refrigeration display cases, and for which it will earn a customary distribution fee.

By the end of the current quarter, the company expects to conclude a definitive agreement with Larasan.

Unique Pizza and Subs president CEO and board chairman James Vowler said that Larasan is an ideal transnational distribution partner whose focus on unique, health enhancing products enables Larasan to embrace company's model of producing pizzas made with top quality, healthy ingredients.

"With over two billion consumers, I am thrilled to be moving forward on this distribution deal with Larasan, which I believe will prove to be a total game changer for our Company," Vowler added.

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based Unique Pizza and Subs Corporation is focused on worldwide frozen pizza production and distribution as well as its legacy business of franchising, conversions, and ownership and operation of pizza and sub shops.
