In a statement, Alasko, a frozen fruit and vegetable importer announced that it will be acquiring FooDelicious and claim it will add “an established Canadian food service brand and a best-in-class packing facility to [Alasko’s] existing network and leading global supply chain for frozen fruits and vegetables.”

Alasko claimed that FooDelicious’ customers will not have any disruptions in service and will “benefit from Alasko Foods’ global network of 100+ agri-food producers and processors across 30 countries.”

The FooDelicious facility will also add “an additional focal point of production, warehousing and distribution activity,” says Alasko Foods.

“We are delighted to welcome Dave Black and the entire FooDelicious team to the Alasko Foods family and we are looking forward to growing production at the FooDelicious facility,” says Michael Vineberg, Alasko Foods CEO.
