On June 17, 2013, the Uganda National Bureau of Standards notified the WTO of draft food specification standards for Tomato puree and Amaranth flour, which contain specific food additive information. Uganda also proposed several other draft standards without specific food additive regulations. The proposed date of adoption on these standards is August 4, 2013.

Uganda’s food additive use regulations are included in the International Food Additive Database.
