Codex Publishes 2013 Report, Adopts Revised Food Additive and MRL Standards

The Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) has published its 2013 Annual Report from the 36th Session held last month. Among other actions, the CAC adopted revised food additive provisions proposed by the Codex Committee on Food Additives (CCFA) and pesticide MRLs proposed by the Codex Committee on Pesticide Residues (CCPR).

The International Food Additive Database and www.MRLDatabase.com are in the process of being updated to reflect the new standards.
