The syrups and spreads market in Thailand will register 8.9% year-over-year growth by 2017, says Canadean Food.

According to the report, "The Future of the Syrups & Spreads Market in Thailand to 2017", the market recorded a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.56% during 2007-2012, with major contributions coming from Syrups and Molasses categories.

In terms of volume, the market grew at 7.06% CAGR.

The market value is predicted to grow at 8.53% and volume at 7.91% during 2012-2017.

Category wise, Syrups is estimated to grow at 9.85% in the next five-year period, while Jams, Jellies & Preserves, Molasses, Savory Spreads and Sweet Spreads are anticipated to grow at 9.23%, 8.77%, 3.22% and 3.09%, respectively.
