Coborn’s has added kosher and halal certified beef, veal and lamb from Musillami Meats, the retailer announced on Facebook.

The meats also place a premium on animal welfare, guaranteeing the animals were raised in open pastures and never received antibiotics or growth hormones.

Musillami joins a roster of meats that includes Hereford Beef and private-label Coborn’s Signature, as well as local purveyors like Jennie-O, No Name and Thousand Hills.
