The choice of the Germans is certain: Netto Marken-Discount is the 'most loved retailer of 2013', as announced by the German website Gabot.de. That is the result of one of the largest consumer surveys in Europe, in which about 43,000 consumers were questioned. In total 352 trading chains were assessed on various criteria and categories.

Discounter Netto Marken-Discount was the favourite of one out of five questioned consumers and received most of the appreciation in the inquiry. The company with the promising slogan 'einfach besser' ('just better') every week attracts more than 19 million customers all over Germany with the largest assortmenrt of all discounters. In addition the company again and again realises innovative service activities for its clients

The consumers questioned judged all companies on the following nine criterias: price/quality, relationship, price level, actions and offers, assortment, service, innovation, professionalism of staff, client friendliness and ambience.
