Londis has enhanced its Webshop with a series of upgrades including a Brand Catalogue which allows retailers to find all products from any brand and a Delivery Tracker that offers real-time information from trucks every 15 minutes.

The latest developments are designed to improve the award winning innovation launched in May 2012 for Londis retailers. The online ordering platform is said to put products, offers and exclusive deals at retailers’ fingertips and together in one delivery. It has cut the time it takes retailers to order by an average of 50%, with some reporting time savings of 75%.

Londis Sales Director, Scott Wharton, said: “We’re constantly developing Londis Webshop to make it more user friendly for retailers who partner with us. By introducing new search features, along with live information about the expected time of deliveries, we want to free up more of their valuable time, so that they can focus on running their stores more efficiently, effectively and – ultimately – profitably.”

The brand catalogue has been developed in direct response to retailer feedback. The additional search functionality also includes predictive suggestions which provide a shortcut to matching products and categories, and Filters that let retailers refine results, for example by category or brand. Also new is an add to Webshop quick link on the planogram section of the Londis retailer website, taking retailers to a list of all the planogram’s products from which some or all can be added simply to their basket.
