"China's frozen fruit and vegetable export industry has been developing steadily in the past few years. Compared to 2015, the growth rate of total exports in 2016 is not large, about 5%. This is mainly due to the downturn in the European market economy last year, and the purchasing power of consumers is not strong. On the other hand, the rise in the cost of raw materials and labor costs in the country have increased the final export price. It is expected that the situation will improve this year and total exports will increase by about 10%," said Mr. Xu from JUXIAN RUIFENG FOODS LTD.

"In terms of export prices, compared to 2015, the prices of all kinds of frozen fruit and vegetables have risen in 2016. Among them, frozen garlic increased by more than 50%, which is closely related to the overall trend of the garlic market, quite apart from the reduction of output and artificial market speculation which are also the important factors. It is expected that the garlic market this year will tend towards a steady development, and the export prices of the frozen garlic will fall sharply."

"Our company, established in 2004, is located in Juxian of Rizhao City of Shandong province, where there are 20-30 frozen fruit & veg production and export enterprises. We have our own production, logistics and cold storage, as well as a total area of 7000-8000 acres of fruit and vegetable planting base, located in Rizhao, Weifang and Linyi city. Our company is mainly engaged in frozen green asparagus, frozen garlic, garlic croutons, cauliflowers and onions. All the products have a global BRC certificate, and the annual output is up to 8,000-10,000 tons. Through Qingdao port, 70% of our fruit and vegetables are exported to Europe, 10% to Russia and 20% to market dealers in North America, who will resell to the local wholesale markets, supermarkets and hotels."

"As a young company with a lot of potential, every year we take part in the SIAL show in October, held in France and Germany. In the production process, we adhere to the strict control of the product quality and strive to highlight the regional characteristics of the product in order to expand the international market."
