A few days ago, the first batch of preserved green onions of the new production season, 2016-2017, were smoothly exported to Japan, after having met the requirements of the Quarantine and Inspection Services in Zhangzhou city (Fujian province). The batch weighed 16.8 tons, had a value of 23,000 USD, and was produced by the Fengshou Yuanguocai Limited Company in Zhangpu county (Zhangzhou). Statistics show that in the season 2015-2016 Zhangzhou exported a total of 4560 tons of green onions to Japan with a cumulative value of 6,140,000 USD.
