"Chinese vegetable exports to Japan have shown a downward trend in the last few years, as Japan continues to implement stricter requirements on the amount of pesticide residue in imported vegetables. This means that purchasing traders prefer to buy local Japanese vegetables rather than imported vegetables." This is according to Mr. Liu Dalei, the executive of Xiangda Business Enterprise.

"Overall, however, China still has advantages in vegetable exports: first, the price of Chinese vegetables is lower than that of Japanese vegetables, as their costs are much lower. The second reason is quality control. Chinese farmers increase their knowledge of farming daily and government departments are becoming more strict when it comes to the inspection and control of pesticide residues. This has improved the overall quality of vegetables in the last few years. Third, China has vast territories with abundant resources. Vegetable production areas are widely distributed, which means that vegetable farms can guarantee a year-round supply of various vegetable products. Japan, however, has cold winters when vegetable production is limited."

"We are an agricultural import and export business located in Chiba Prefecture, Tokyo. We import a variety of beautiful, high-quality, tasty Chinese vegetables throughout the year. These include carrots, cabbages, red cabbages, onions, edible burdock, leeks, turnips, and Chinese cabbage. We sell to large-scale processing factories in Japan and process according to the requirements of our clients."
