"For most of 2016, apples were going through a market downturn in China. With low yields and poor average quality, sales were sluggish. On the other hand, the slow sales discouraged many growers and reduced their motivation to invest in fertilizer. The good news is that since the second half of 2016, the market has started to recover, with sales volumes and prices growing slowly", said Alice, the export manager of Dalian Golden Apple Co.,Ltd.

"2017 will be a good year for apples, thanks to the better yields. The market demand for apples has increased greatly after the Chinese New Year and the prices this season have been 10% to 15% higher than last year. With the output going slightly up and the quality improving, the export price and volume of apples this year have also been rising. "

"We are a modernized company specialized in apple purchasing, storing, packaging and selling, with our own factories in both Dalian and Yuncheng. We collaborate with cooperatives and export our apples under the trademark of 'Golden Apple' to Southeastern Asian countries, Russia, the US and Canada through the ports in Dalian and Qingdao. Our main export destinations are Bangladesh, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand. Currently we have an annual export volume of 9,000 tons and our apple varieties include Hongxing, Huaniu, Jinshuai, Fuji and Guoguang."
