A total of 1.13 million tons of various sorts of fruits worth $741 million were exported from Iran in the first half of the Iranian year. This amounts to a 17% increase compared to the same period last year, reported the Customs Service of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
 
Iran exported 974,000 tons of fruits worth 633 million dollars in the first six months of last year. The nation also exported 1.11 million tons of vegetables worth of 438 million dollars in the first half of this Iranian year.
