According to data published by the Central Reserve Bank (BCR), Peruvian agricultural product exports…According to data published by the Central Reserve Bank (BCR), Peruvian agricultural product exports amounted to 550 million dollars in July 2019, i.e. 23% more than in July 2018.
According to the BCR, the increase in exports was mainly due to the higher volumes of agricultural products shipped, 22.6% of which corresponds to the increase in shipments of fresh blueberries and asparagus. In addition, prices have increased by 0.3% on average.
Sales to the main destinations also increased as follows: sales to EU countries (50.4%), the United States (15.8%), Ecuador (26.9%) and Colombia (104.3%).
