The price of Shandong peppers increased to 3.2 yuan [0.47 USD] after the festival. "However, the price only briefly increased and has been falling again in the last two days. The price of bell peppers from Fujian has already dropped from 90 yuan [13.29 USD] per box to only 70 yuan [10.33 USD]."The trader further stated, "the price of peppers has never been this low in the last 5 years."
